Your mind is more powerful than you know

As such your mind has everything to do with your weight loss. But guess what, the power of your mind is actually working against most of you and you don’t even realize it. That’s right; your mind can be your best friend or your worst enemy depending on what you think.

"Fat thinking" is the main reason you have been screwing up. Your only hope is to learn how to control and direct the power of your mind to serve you. What choice do you have? You have seen the results of letting your mind work against you all these years every time you step on the scale or look in the mirror.

Your mind got you into this mess and only your mind can get you out of it. This book will show you how.

It's a disaster already in the making...

The World health Organization which refers to the escalating global obesity epidemic as "globesity" estimates there are more than one BILLION overweight adults globally, of whom at least 300 million obese. Being overweight or obese has grave consequences for you individually and to your employer.  Click here for the latest facts and costs.

Individual and employer consequences of obesity

1.  A Statistics Canada analysis found that obese Canadians are four times more likely to have diabetes, 3.3 times more likely to have high blood pressure and 56% more likely to have heart disease than those with healthy weights. GPI Atlantic Ron Coleman PhD. 2001

2.  For a firm with 1,000 employees, obesity would cost about $285,000 a year. RTI International Health, Social and Economics Research and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: Eric Finkelstein Sept. 2005.

3.  The average absence for a worker who files an obesity-related STD claim is 45 days. Those 10% of employees who are out on short-term disability leave consume more than 50% of an employer’s healthcare dollars. Employers can help employees take the first steps. By so doing, they stand to save billions of dollars annually. Equally important, they stand to improve the health and productivity of their employees. Dr. Leopold Vice President and National Medical Director for MetLife Disability. Aug. 2 2004

4. "Obesity is clearly an issue for employers." "It's a problem that's not going away ... and employers have to find ways to help rein in those costs." James Early. Director of Clinical Preventive Medicine for the University of Kansas School of Medicine Nov. 7 2007

5.  Obesity causing problems in Canada's workplaces - The odds of being absent from work are almost four times higher for obese young men than for those with normal weight. Obese workers often have problems with fatigue and physical limitations, which can result in an injury. They may not wear personal protective equipment, such as gloves and goggles, because they don't fit or are uncomfortable to wear. Fri. Feb. 20 2009 CTV – quoting a report from Statistics Canada.

An Introduction to Think and Be Thin

Are you one of these people going insane with yo-yo dieting and frustrated that nothing seems to work? Do you feel hopeless about your weight? If so, then you are in luck. And you don’t have to check with your doctor, buy any meals, supplements, pills or anything.

FINALLY the shocking truth about why you struggle to lose weight is revealed in this book. And as long as you don’t know these truths you’ll stay fat and the mainstream diet industry will keep taking your money.

This book answers the question,

"WHY CAN'T YOU LOSE WEIGHT AND KEEP IT OFF?"

If you have struggled with your weight or body image and are looking for a new answer to solve your weight problems this book is written for you. There is hope for you yet. Prepare to be amazed and shocked by what you are about to learn. You won’t learn this anywhere else.

Q - What is the real cause of your weight problem?

A – Well guess what? It’s not the diet, it’s how you think. That’s the bottom line.

As a result of what you think and believe, you lack the will power necessary to consistently do the things that would cause you to lose weight. Period. What else could it be? That might sound a bit crazy but it's true. As you read this book you’ll discover that your mind has got you into this mess and it is only your mind that will get you out.
